Depart Nairobi in the morning heading north via the shoulder of Africa’s second largest mountain, Mt Kenya to the Samburu Game Reserve. Transfer from your hotel to Wilson Airport at 06.30h (EARLY!) to fly by Air Kenya schedule flight (07.30/08.15h) to Amboseli, at the foot of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. The morning drive takes you through some of Kenya’s richest coffee farming land. Travel northwards, crossing the Equator near Nanyuki. With luck you may see Kenya’s highest mountain, Mt. Kenya.
