Day 1
Transfer from your hotel to Wilson Airport at 06.30h (EARLY!) to fly by Air Kenya schedule flight (07.30/08.15h) to Amboseli, at the foot of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. You are met and transferred to your lodge. After check-in enjoy your first safari drive in this reserve. You are taken on your safari drives in the lodge’s own safari vehicles.

Day 2
Morning and afternoon animal viewing in the park, which with its dried-up salt lake and weird mirages is the home of lion, elephant, buffalo, cheetah and herds of antelopes.

Day 3
Transfer to the airstrip for your early-morning Air Kenya flight from Amboseli (08.30/09.10h) to Wilson airport. Take your luggage and check in for the flight to Samburu (09.15/10.30h). Transfer from the airstrip to your camp or lodge. Relax before lunch. In the afternoon go for on a first safari in this reserve.

Day 4
An early-morning drive, following the river where elephants are often seen to wallow, is followed by a sumptuous breakfast at your camp. In the afternoon enjoy another safari drive in this reserve, where you can find rare species of animals such as Grevy zebra, reticulated giraffe and the long-necked gerenuk, as well as a profusion of birds.

Day 5
At about 08h15 transfer you to the airstrip in Samburu (09h15/10h50). You are met at the airstrip and taken to your tented camp or lodge. After lunch you are taken on your safari drives in the camp’s own 4-wheel drive vehicles.

Day 6
A full day to enjoy the unlimited animal viewing opportunities in this reserve. During your morning and afternoon drives you will not fail to see lion, buffalo, elephant and with luck cheetah, or even a leopard.

Day 7
Last opportunity for animal viewing and maybe your “dream” photograph. After breakfast you are taken to the airstrip for Air Kenya flight (11.00/12.00h) to Wilson Airport. Transfer to your hotel.
